A 2-channel bass amp head, the Landmark 300 is a 2-rackspace, 300W version of its predecessor, the Landmark 600. It, too, incorporates proprietary, 100% analog SansAmp Tube Amplifier Emulation technology. It offers a truckload of vintage and modern tube amp sounds, as well as a variety of overdriven tones. The interactive controls give you access to specific tone shaping characteristics to create your own custom sounds as well. Sampled settings such as Bassman, SVT, Crimson, and King's X, are included in the owner's manual to get you started.

• 2 distinctively different channels:
  
  Channel 1, consistent with the design of the famed SansAmp Bass Driver DI, includes Drive, Presence, Level, active Bass and Treble controls. Also includes a unique Blend control which allows you to combine any amount of your direct instrument signal with the SansAmp circuitry.
  
  Channel 2, consistent with the design of the acclaimed SansAmp Acoustic DI, offers Drive, Level, and active Bass and Treble controls. Also includes parametric EQ to boost or notch out specific frequencies, with a sweep ranging from 170 Hz to3.5 kHz ±16dB.
  
  Channel switching can be done manually or with any standard latching footswitch. An optional Tech 21 footswitch (#BFSWL) is available, which further expands the amp's capabilities (see below).
  
  SansAmp XLR Direct Output, switchable from -10dB to 0dB, enables you to go straight into the mixer of a recorder or PA system. For recording, you get the same sound you hear coming out of the speakers right onto tape or disc. Live, there's no need to mic the cabinet and no need for the audience to be subjected to a sterile, muddy, or boomy bass.
  
  10dB gain boost to set up the preamp for different style pickups.
